eurammon lecture event informs about the current situation and trends in the use of natural refrigerants worldwide

 

Frankfurt (Main), 06-06-2016. This years’ Chillventa, the international exhibition for experts from the fields of refrigeration, air-conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps, will be hosted in Nuremberg on October 11-13, 2016. eurammon will be present with a booth and inform visitors from all over the world about all aspects of the use of natural refrigerants. Furthermore, international experts from science, economy, and independent institutions will talk about the current situation with regard to the use of natural refrigerants in different parts of the world, such as China, Romania, and South Africa.

 

In 20-minute talks, five renowned experts will give an account of the market situation for applications with natural refrigerants in their respective home regions, and point out development opportunities and trends: Stephan Sicars of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) will start with a report on the situation in developing countries and the negotiations between the contracting parties of the Montréal Protocol taking place at the same time. Juan Perea from ALFRIO, a refrigeration specialist, will provide some insight into the status quo and the experience with natural refrigerants in Colombia, and Isolde Döbelin from Open Trade Training Centre (OTTC) will describe the situation in South Africa and present training programs for the work with natural refrigerants. Xianping Zhang of Donghua University, winner of eurammon's Natural Refrigeration Award in 2013, will present an insight in the Chinese market and talk about experiences and challenges regarding natural refrigerant in her country. Finally, Prof. Dr. Gratiela Maria Tarlea from the Romanian General Association of Refrigeration (AGFR) will talk about the current situation in Romania. All lectures will be presented in English. They will be available for reference and download on the eurammon website www.eurammon.com after the event.

The event starts on Wednesday 10/12/2016 at 9:30 a.m. in Hall 9, Booth 9-531. After the lectures, everyone is invited to the “Brunch for Friends of Natural Refrigerants” at the eurammon booth to exchange experiences and talk about the current situation and future opportunities for applications with natural refrigerants in an informal setting.
